Aaj Jaane Ki Zid Na Karo is a Ghazal song[1] written by Fayyaz Hashmi.[2] It was popularlised by noted classical vocalist, Farida Khanum.[3] It is sung in Raag Yaman Kalyan.[4]

The song is rendered by many artistes like Asha Bhosle (Asha Bhosle: Love Supreme, 2005).[5] The song was used as background music in a scene in the Mira Nair's Golden Lion winning film, Monsoon Wedding (2001).[6]
